September brought a soft launch of ViFluent. Largely, the focus has been on refining the algorithm and ensuring that it is working as intended. I have also been working on curating the data, adding in audio recordings, and methods of generating more data.

I am excited to continue to develop ViFluent and to see what the community thinks of the app!

August 2024

This month has seen great progress in the development. We are working to bring in Vietnamese speakers to verify our data and create audio recordings. We have also implemented the best in class spaced repetition algorithm to help learners remember what they have learned.

I am excited for our upcoming launch and hope that you will find ViFluent to be a valuable tool in your Vietnamese learning journey. I am always open to feedback and suggestions, so please feel free to reach out.

ViFluent is in development with a simple mission: to help learners of Vietnamese study in an efficient, organized, and structured manner. I myself am a learner of Vietnamese, but was unsatisfied with the existing tools I found, so I set off to create something greater.

Given the data that needs to be curated, this is quite a challenge, but I am excited to continue to progress towards a better learning experience for all learners of Vietnamese, where the tools are not only useful, but also fun and engaging. I hope you enjoy using ViFluent as much as I enjoy developing it.
