A few life events slowed down development for a while, but I am back and ready to work on Vifluent. Vifluent has received a redesign, and I am very happy with the progress. If you have any feedback, please reach out! We are actively hiring Vietnamese speakers to verify our data, and begin writing our first generation of graded readers. We hope to have our first short stories out soon, and our first graded reader out in the next few months.
September brought a soft launch of Vifluent. Largely, the focus has been on refining the algorithm and ensuring that it is working as intended. I have also been working on curating the data, adding in audio recordings, and methods of generating more data. I am excited to continue to develop Vifluent and to see what the community thinks of the app!
This month has seen great progress in the development. We are working to bring in Vietnamese speakers to verify our data and create audio recordings. We have also implemented the best in class spaced repetition algorithm to help learners remember what they have learned. I am excited for our upcoming launch and hope that you will find Vifluent to be a valuable tool in your Vietnamese learning journey.
