Analytics is performed with Simple Analytics and Cloudflare Web Analytics. From our due diligence, we believe these are the best analytics options for our users' privacy and business needs.
For self-managed accounts, we collect an email address for signup, login, account messages, and password recovery. We also store timezone and study activity so the app can calculate learning progress, review schedules, and daily study statistics. On account deletion, study data and other non-personal data may be anonymized, and account contact data is deleted with the account record.
Classroom Students
For classroom-managed students, educators may create accounts with a display name and generated username instead of a student email address. School email addresses are optional and should be used only when helpful for the classroom workflow.
We do not use student classroom accounts for marketing emails, targeted advertising, or student ads. Educators should enter only the student information needed for learning, and students, parents, guardians, or schools may contact us about access, correction, export, or deletion requests.
